Overview

This second annual, one-day symposium is designed for professionals seeking a deeper understanding of imaging congenital heart disease across the lifespan, from fetal assessments to post-operative care and lifelong cardiac performance.

Join leading pediatric cardiologists and expert sonographers for a dynamic learning experience that blends foundational knowledge with advanced applications.

The program features in-depth lectures, extended breakout sessions dedicated to 3D imaging and hands-on exploration of pediatric heart specimens, and focused discussions that emphasize practical techniques and clinical decision-making in congenital echocardiography.

The symposium will also incorporate fetal echocardiography sessions designed to complement core pediatric topics, including segmental anatomy and congenital heart

disease in utero. These paired discussions will highlight how imaging approaches and

interpretation differ across the prenatal and postnatal spectrum, reinforcing a more

comprehensive understanding of congenital cardiac disease.

The program will also include a dedicated discussion on stress echocardiography in

congenital heart disease, focusing on its clinical applications and emerging utility in patient

management.

This experience offers a valuable opportunity for professionals seeking to deepen their

expertise, refine their imaging approach, and stay at the forefront of congenital cardiac care.

Objectives
  1. Enhance knowledge of congenital heart defects across the fetal, neonatal, pediatric, and congenital lifespan spectrum
  2. Apply particular echocardiographic views and techniques to diagnose congenital heart disease in patients of all ages
  3. Apply knowledge to performance and interpretation of imaging studies of congenital heart disease
  4. Hands on heart specimen demonstrations and applied case discussions
