Overview
The Pediatric Psychology Perspectives Virtual Conference will take place over 3 days. Pediatric psychologists, behavioral health providers, and trainees in psychology and other behavioral health fields are the intended audience. Pediatric psychologists who are experienced clinicians and leaders in navigating complex medical and psychosocial situations will help learners describe the role of pediatric psychologists in managing ethical challenges for specific medical concerns (GLP-1 Determinations, Audiology, Amplified Pain). They will share specific strategies for effective resolution of ethical challenges within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Objectives
  1. Describe the pediatric psychologist role in navigating ethical issues in 3 medical specialty areas (GLP-1 Determination, Audiology, Amplified Pain)
  2. Discuss approaches to interdisciplinary care navigating ethical issues in 3 medical specialty areas  (GLP-1 Determination, Audiology, Amplified Pain)
  3. Identify common challenges in ethical decision making in medical specialty areas and strategies to address these challenges in the role of pediatric psychologist
