2026 CHOP Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Virtual Conference- Live Activity

This conference showcases a multidisciplinary approach to the care of pediatric sexual assault victims with expert presentations from Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Child Abuse, Special Immunology, Infectious Disease, and community partners. Experiencing child sexual abuse/assault can result in short and long-term physical, mental, and emotional health consequences. The goal of this conference is to provide a streamlined, developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed approach to provide high quality medical, forensic, and behavioral health care. Understanding how the intersection of healthcare, investigating agencies, and community advocacy agencies impacts the continuum of care for both the child and family is essential and shared during this conference.

1. 90% of learners will be able to list updated first line HIV Post Exposure Prophylaxis medications recommended for adolescents.
2. 90% of learners will be able to list 2 abnormal physical examination findings that may be noted on the physical exam of a pediatric sexual assault patient.
3. 90% of learners will be able to identify at least 3 body sites where evidence collection is typically collected from for evidence collection kits.
4. 90% of learners will define the changes that they will make in their role on the health care team following the educational activity.
