Overview

Reiki can help decrease perceptions of pain, increase calmness, and promote restful sleep. The Integrative Health Team is excited to offer Reiki Level One Training that will enable you to practice Reiki upon program completion. All healthcare providers are welcome to take the course.

**To begin, sign in or create an account. Click 'Content' at the top. Do not register for the experiential class until you have completed the online modules.**

The course includes 5 hours of a hands-on, experiential class, and 2 hours of pre-work comprised of four brief e-Learning modules. There is a Participant Guide that learners will reflect in throughout the pre-learning and bring to class.

More information will be provided to those who register.

Designation of Credit

Physicians: Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses: This program provides 7.0 ANCC contact hours.

Outcomes

Reiki Techniques
Moving past theory and into practice, this module offers highly interactive introductions to Byosen Scanning, Kenyoku, and Reiki Hand Positions for self-treatment and treatment of others. Learners will be asked to apply what they’ve learned to a patient case scenario in preparation for the instructor-led training.
