Overview
This international conference is targeted for healthcare providers working with survivors of childhood and adolescent cancer including but not limited to advanced practice providers, nurses, physicians, social workers and school nurses. The conference offers a wide variety of topics related to all aspects of cancer survivorship including late effects by system, transition, health disparities and social determinants of health, fertility, cardiology and hereditary predisposition. Opportunities for interactive learning and professional networking will augment the didactic components of the sessions.

Objectives
  1. 90% of learners will be able to identify the unique care needs of children and adolescents who have cognitive impairment.
  2. 90% of learners will be able to identify those families at greatest risk for significant disruption in family functioning.
  3. 90% of learners will be able to describe how their practice will change based on the updates to the standard follow up guidelines.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
