Neuroendocrine Symposium IV

This one-day program is targeted to endocrinologists, neuro-oncologists, radiologists, neurosurgeons, neuro-ophthalmologists, fellows, residents and nurse practitioners who evaluate or treat children with hypothalamic/pituitary disorders. This program will highlight practical approaches to evaluating a child with a prolactinoma, hypothalamic obesity, and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. We will have an open table discussion of some of the learner's cases.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT WILL OPEN SOON

1. Recite 3 modalities to treat a child with a craniopharyngioma
2. Strategize how to manage a child with hypothalamic obesity
3. Develop a strategy for diagnosis and treatment of a child with hypogonadism
4. Recite key steps in the diagnosis of a child with a prolactinoma and its treatment
5. Identify on a Pituitary MRI various important structures
6. Dose and organize starting a child on the new weekly GH therapies
7. Identify the features of a patient with hypophysitis and its treatment

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
