9th Annual CHOP Education Day

All CHOP patients, families and communities benefit when our teams come together to collaborate and learn from one another. The CHOP Interprofessional Education Committee, comprised of experts from all areas of our hospital, aims to facilitate continued learning and cross-functional collaboration to improve the excellence of care we provide. One of the ways they do this is by hosting the annual interprofessional Education Day. 

1. Examine best practices for health professions education, interprofessional education (IPE) and interprofessional collaboration (IPC) at CHOP
2. Discuss the health professions education work of others and consider opportunities for interprofessional collaboration
3. Engage with health care professionals in your own and in other fields to learn with, from, and about them.

In support of improving patient care, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.50 hours), ANCC NCPD Contact Hours (4.50 hours), ASWB ACE CE credit (4.50 hours), Non-Physician AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ Attendance (includes PA, RT, RDMS) (4.50 hours)
