Overview
The two-day symposium will focus on pediatric pulmonary vein stenosis including the etiology, diagnosis, management, identification of knowledge gaps and current and future research efforts. Faculty with expertise in PVS from around the around will be invited to give presentations on selected topics as well as to participate in discussions throughout the symposium. The format will include traditional lecture-based topic focused sessions, case presentations, and expert panels all with Q/A time built in to allow for vibrant discussion and participation from all attendees. The symposium is open to all medical providers and trainees interested in learning about PVS.

Objectives
  1. Understand the pathophysiology and diagnosis of pulmonary vein stenosis.
  2. Describe the underlying mechanism, clinical presentation, and diagnostic criteria of PVS.
  3. Review current and emerging treatment strategies and the latest treatment options for PVS, including surgical interventions, catheter-based therapies, and pharmacological management.
  4. Demonstrate the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in managing PVS through developing strategies for coordinated care involving cardiologists, pulmonologists, radiologists, and other healthcare providers.
