40th Annual David W. Smith Workshop on Malformations and Morphogenesis

David W. Smith Workshop is an annual meeting of discussion, debate, and diversion among dysmorphologists, geneticists, pediatricians, and researchers who study birth defects.  The workshop has gained a reputation as a productive and fun venue for sharing and pondering new discoveries and emerging theories.

Registration for this Workshop is restricted to participants with an accepted presentation.

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education to physicians.

Cliff Lodge – Room Rate (2 queen beds)

Single room occupancy - $139 plus taxes and $10 resort fee (Additional occupants per room: $10.00 per person)

Double room occupancy - $149 plus taxes and $10 resort (Additional occupants per room: $10.00 per person)

Individuals will be responsible for payment of their own lodging.  A one-night deposit per room rate, taxes and fees will be charged immediately and whoever books, the entire amount will be charged to the credit card on file 3 days before the meeting.  If you are sharing payment for a shared room, please provide the credit card information for both occupants at the time of making the reservation or please discuss final payment with your roommate.

As a reminder, per the contract there is a 4 night minimum stay requirement.

TRAVEL

To Snowbird from Salt Lake City International Airport

Take I-80 east to I-215 south. Take Exit 6 (6200 South) and go east on 6200 South, toward the mountains. This road will lead you straight to UT-210 and up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird.  Cliff Lodge Address:  9320 S. Cliff Lodge Drive, Snowbird UT 84092 (Entry #4, Hwy 210, Little Cottonwood Canyon).  

Parking

Complimentary self-parking is available for conference guests at all Snowbird lodges.  The Cliff Lodge offers valet parking at $12.00 per vehicle per day.  With a maximum of $48.00 per stay (subject to change).

Airport Transportation

Airport shuttles may be arranged while booking lodging through Snowbird Central Reservations (800-453-3000) or up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Current pre-paid price is $76.00 per person round trip. Walk-ups are accepted at a higher rate on a space available basis at the Canyon Transportation desk located in the baggage claim area of the Salt Lake City International Airport. Cancellations received within 48 hours of arrival are non-refundable. Driver gratuity not included.
