Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Emergency Department presents the 7th Annual “Best Practices in Pediatric Emergency Nursing”. Conference format includes lecture, simulation, skills stations, and interactive quick sessions. Content is applicable to all levels of nursing expertise, pre-hospital care providers and students interested in expanding their knowledge in caring for the pediatric patient with an emergent condition. Leading faculty utilize evidenced based guidelines and expert pediatric opinion to engage participants on hot topics within pediatric emergency nursing. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to any unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation or postponement, The Children’ Hospital of Philadelphia will refund any registration fees, less a $25 service charge, but is not responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses to participants, including cancellation charges assessed by airlines/travel agencies. In order to process refunds for course withdrawals, cancellation must be received in writing by April 29, 2019. No refunds will be issued thereafter.

EMS Continuing Education Hours

The Pennsylvania Department of Health Bureau of EMS through Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has been approved. Participants will be granted 8 continuing education credit hours. Your CEUs will be applied to your Status Report within two weeks of the conclusion of the symposium. Providers from other states will be given a certificate of attendance.
