22nd Annual Surgical Trauma Nursing Conference

This regional conference is designed for all health care professionals involved in the care of our traumatically injured children and those that require surgery. Over these two days, participants will be provided with evidence-based information that will improve their knowledge and can be effective in the care and management of this patient population.

1. 80% of learners will be able to describe current evidence-based treatment and technologic advances relevant to the care of children with surgical and trauma related needs.
2. 80% of learners will be able to describe key challenges that face healthcare team members caring for this patient population.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

A block of rooms has been reserved at The Study at University City, 20 S. 33rd Street Philadelphia, Pa 19104. The Group rates are $239 single and double occupancy, plus a 16.25% room tax.
