Current Concepts in Advanced Practice Conference

Three distinct program tracks: Acute Care, Ambulatory/Primary Care and Managing APPs, allow attendees to tailor their experience based on their interests. Virtual opportunities for interactive learning and professional networking will augment the didactic components of the sessions. In addition, returning for the 2nd year there will be a preconference workshop on wellness, informatics and behavioral health.

1. 80% of participants will identify that they have an increase in knowledge of pediatric healthcare practices.
2. 80% of participants will report to integrate evidence-based practices learned during the conference into their clinical practice, resulting in improved patient care outcomes.
3. 80% of participants will identify that after attending the conference they will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering communication and teamwork among interdisciplinary teams.
4. 80% of participants will report that after attending the conference they gained insights into strategies for delivering patient-centered care, addressing cultural competency, communication skills, and shared decision-making.

The registration fee for the virtual conference is $500 and $300 for students.

The registration fee for each preconference session:
•$200 for full-day preconference session (Informatics)
•$150 for each ½ day preconference session (Well-being or Behavioral Health) or $200 for both ½ day conference sessions

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

 

DESIGNATION OF CREDIT
Nurses: This program provides a maximum of 63.25 ANCC contact hours.

This activity has been reviewed by the American Academy of Physician Associates Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 63.25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation. Approval is valid from 12/4/2024 to 2/5/2025. AAPA reference number: CME-2012465.
