Pediatric Hospital Medicine Board Review Conference

This three-day course is designed to prepare physicians for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine board exam. Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of core exam content. This course includes engaging, high-yield lectures and interactive sessions led by pediatric hospitalists and sub-specialty experts. This activity has been designed for hospitalist physicians and pediatric hospital medicine fellows for Pediatric Hospital Medicine board certification and recertification purposes.

1. Demonstrate an understanding of core pathophysiology and epidemiology of common clinical problems seen in pediatric hospital medicine.
2. Identify appropriate diagnostic evaluation and management and treatment steps for clinical scenarios of hospitalized children.
3. Discuss relevant systems-based, ethical, and educational frameworks with application to pediatric hospital medicine.
4. Outline effective test-taking strategies and high-yield exam pearls to prepare for the PHM board exam.

HOTEL INFORMATION
A block of rooms has been reserved at reduced rates at The Study located just a few blocks from Children’s Hospital. The group overnight rate is $239 single and double occupancy plus a 16.25% room tax. Participants are required to make their own hotel reservations by calling The Study directly at 215-387-1400. Please mention the name of the conference when making your reservation. The special room rate will be available until August 12, 2024. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
