Delivery Room of the Future

The field of Delivery Room Resuscitation is rapidly advancing. This conference will feature the latest patient oriented research on topics related to postnatal management, methods to optimize team performance during specialized resuscitation, and innovating technology for delivery room management of infants with congenital anomalies. The objective of this conference is to enhance audience understanding of delivery room management of newborns with congenital anomalies, and to apply the latest information to their clinical practice. The objectives of each conference are communicated to all participants prior to the conference.

1. Recognize current challenges with applying the Neonatal Resuscitation Program algorithm to newborns with congenital anomalies.
2. Describe strategies for inter-professional teams to optimize delivery room care for newborns with congenital anomalies.
3. Identify applications of novel technologies to augment care in the delivery room.

The registration fee is $200 and includes registration materials, continental breakfast, lunch and breaks.

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education to physicians.

In the event of cancellation or postponement, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will refund any registration fees, but is not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses to participants, including cancellation charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. To process refunds for course withdrawals, cancellation must be received in writing by April 22, 2024. No refunds will be issued thereafter.

A block of rooms has been reserved at reduced rates at The Study located just a few blocks from Children’s Hospital. The group overnight rate is $259 single and double occupancy plus a 16.25% room tax. Participants are required to make their own hotel reservations by calling The Study directly at 215-387-1400. Please mention the name of the conference when making your reservation. The special room rate will be available until April 8, 2024. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
