Pediatric Hospital Medicine Board Review Conference

This three-day course is designed to prepare physicians for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine board exam. Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of core exam content. This course includes engaging, high-yield lectures and interactive sessions led by pediatric hospitalists and sub-specialty experts. This activity has been designed for hospitalist physicians and pediatric hospital medicine fellows for Pediatric Hospital Medicine board certification and recertification purposes.

Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination is required to attend this meeting.

1. Demonstrate an understanding of core pathophysiology and epidemiology of common clinical problems seen in pediatric hospital medicine.
2. Identify appropriate diagnostic evaluation and management and treatment steps for clinical scenarios of hospitalized children.
3. Discuss relevant systems-based, ethical, and educational frameworks with application to pediatric hospital medicine.
4. Outline effective test-taking strategies and high-yield exam pearls to prepare for the PHM board exam.

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education to physicians.

Hotel Accommodations
A block of rooms has been reserved at reduced rates at The Study, located just a few blocks from Children’s Hospital. The group overnight rate is $229 single and double occupancy plus a 16.25 percent room tax. Participants are required to make their own hotel reservations by calling The Study directly at 215-387-1400. Please mention the name of the conference when making your reservation. The special room rate will be available until Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
