Overview

This one-day Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) Master Trainer Course, 2nd edition, is designed to provide participants with neonatal resuscitation skills and prepare them to train others in the initial steps of neonatal resuscitation. The HBB curriculum, which focuses on the Golden Minute after birth, is specifically designed for low-resource environments and has been shown to significantly reduce neonatal mortality and fresh stillbirths. HBB is an initiative of the American Academy of Pediatrics in collaboration with other global health organizations.

The HBB Master Trainer Course, 2nd edition precedes the 13th Annual Pediatric Global
Health Conference: Making Up for Lost Time: Addressing Children’s Needs Postpandemic
(Oct. 29 – 30, 2021).
