Overview
This one-day virtual program will provide neonatologists and neonatal healthcare providers with the most up-to-date information on a variety of complex physiologic issues in neonatology. Research and technology are constantly expanding. This program will review some of the latest therapies used in treating the sick neonate.

Objectives
  1. Identify strategies to optimize human milk fortification in the VLBW population
  2. Describe advances in management of neonates with kidney disease
  3. Discuss the impact of maternal vaccines on the neonate
  4. Describe early signs and diagnosis of CP
  5. Identify strategies to incorporate health equity into NICU care
  6. Describe advances of care for the patient with CDH from fetus to newborn
  7. Identify optimal thresholds for transfusion of platelets and PRBCs
  8. Discuss ethical issues of the healthcare team providing care for neonates with potentially lethal syndromes
