Reiki Level 2 Training Program

Reiki Level 2 is an in-person class that will provide an opportunity to discuss the challenges of self-practice and the practice on others after completion of level 1. There will be a deeper dive into practice in the hospital setting with plenty of opportunity for hands on practice.

NOTE: Do not register for this class unless you have attended the Reiki Level 1 Training Program.

Evaluation/Feedback - It is encouraged that evaluation forms be completed at the end of the activity giving your feedback and explaining what you learned and/or what practice or skill you will perform to provide improved patient care.

1. 90% of learners will demonstrate proper body mechanics and hand positioning while performing Reiki.
2. 85% of Learners will identify at least 2 ways to incorporate Reiki into their practice.

This course will take place at the Abramson Pediatric Research Center. The registration fee is $200 for non-CHOP participants and $80 for CHOP faculty. 

In support of improving patient care, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.




Designation of Credit

Physicians: Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses: This program provides 5.0 ANCC NCPD contact hours.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (5.00 hours), ANCC NCPD Contact Hours (5.00 hours), Non-Physician AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ Attendance (includes PA, RT, RDMS) (5.00 hours)
