This 2.5-day, in-person Pediatric Hospital Medicine conference is designed for clinicians who care for hospitalized children, including attending physicians, fellows, and advanced practice providers. The program emphasizes evidence-based guidelines, clinical excellence, and professional growth. Educational offerings include expert-led lectures, hands-on skills sessions, and networking opportunities. Participants will engage with faculty to enhance high-quality, safe, and efficient inpatient pediatric care. Content is curated to reflect the evolving scope of Pediatric Hospital Medicine across diverse practice settings and to support providers at all career stages. The conference also offers tailored board review preparation for physicians pursuing Pediatric Hospital Medicine Board Certification.

1. Review current evidence-based guidelines and consensus recommendations to the management of common pediatric inpatient conditions.
2. Integrate new evidence into clinical decision-making to improve the quality, safety, efficiency, and value of inpatient pediatric care.
3. Utilize effective communication strategies to support shared decision-making with patients, families, and interprofessional care teams.
4. Engage in professional development focused on leadership, teaching, career sustainability, and systems-based practice in pediatric hospital medicine.
5. Strengthen procedural and practical inpatient skills through hands-on training
6. Review essential ABP Pediatric Hospital Medicine core content and high-yield clinical reasoning to prepare for the PHM Board Certification Exam

In support of improving patient care, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

A block of rooms has been reserved at reduced rates at The Study at University City, located just a few blocks from Children’s Hospital. The group overnight rate is $259 single and double occupancy plus a 16.25% room tax. Participants are required to make their own hotel reservations by calling The Study directly at 215-387-1400.
