Overview

Objectives

Outline the knowns and unknowns within the knowledge base that informs on how best to understand and care for the patient with pediatric and congenital cardiovascular disease.
Explain the methods for acquisition and sources of data and knowledge that currently exist and that need to be further developed to provide the means to other optimal care for patients with pediatric & congenital cardiovascular disease.
Describe the science and knowledge base of information that supports current state- of-the art clinical practice for the patient with pediatric and congenital cardiovascular disease.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
