Overview
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is pleased to announce, "New Frontiers in Pediatric Ophthalmology: 20th Annual CHOP Update on Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.” The purpose of this multidisciplinary course is to outline topics related to Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus diseases and conditions. It will focus on practical applications for the management of these disorders, as well as new horizons for diagnosis. This half-day course is intended for pediatric ophthalmologists, oculoplastic and orbital surgeons, neuro-ophthalmologists, pediatric healthcare providers and general ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmic technicians, and other specialists interested in pediatric ophthalmology.

Objectives
  1. Managing Diplopia in the Setting of Retinal Pathology.
  2. Management of Thyroid Eye Disease and Associate Strabismus
  3. Management of Fundus Torsion with Plicating of the Anterior Fibers of the Superior Oblique

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
