Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Center for Resuscitation of Children and Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine invite you to attend the inaugural conference on pediatric resuscitation, oriented toward world leaders and focusing on the future of resuscitation science.

Held the day before the renowned American Heart Association’s Resuscitation Science Symposium in Philadelphia, this conference is intended for clinicians, research scientists, and those who are passionate about developing improved resuscitation practices and outcomes for children. Participants will discuss and learn about emerging breakthroughs in all areas of resuscitation science, training and guideline implementation. Come join us to help identify challenges and develop solutions for next-generation care.

Highlights of the conference include:

•Learn about “Next Generation” cardio-cerebral resuscitation treatments
•Debate on which goal-directed targets are best, and brainstorm how to achieve them
•Determine criteria for the next generation of monitors that industry should develop to improve pediatric resuscitation
•Discuss the “Road to Resuscitation” for 2025

1. Identify the unique challenges for pediatric resuscitation teams, both in- and out- of hospital
2. Discuss emerging goal-directed treatments and technologic advances relevant to children
3. Describe controversies and challenges that impact pediatric resuscitation: Prevention, CPR, Post-arrest care, team performance, and measurement of meaningful outcomes

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education to physicians.
