2025 CHOP Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Virtual Conference- Live Activity

This conference showcases a multidisciplinary approach to the care of pediatric sexual assault victims with expert presentations from Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Child Abuse, Special Immunology, and Infectious Disease. Experiencing child sexual abuse/assault can result in short and long-term physical, mental, and emotional health consequences. The goal of this conference is to provide a streamlined, developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed approach to provide high quality medical, forensic, and behavioral health care.

1. 90% of learners will be able to describe the steps of forensic evidence collection in a pediatric patient.
2. 90% of learners will be able to list 2 abnormal physical examination findings that may be noted on the physical exam of a pediatric sexual assault patient.
3. 90% of learners will be able to identify 2 risk factors for a victim of sex trafficking.
4. 90% of learners will be able to describe a process improvement that will positively affect the function of the Sexual Assault Response Team.
