New Frontiers in Pediatric Ophthalmology 20th Annual Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Update on Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is pleased to announce ‘’ New Frontiers in Pediatric Ophthalmology: 20th Annual CHOP Update on Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.” This half-day course is intended for pediatric ophthalmologists, oculoplastic and orbital surgeons, neuro-ophthalmologists, pediatric healthcare providers and general ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmic technicians, and other specialists interested in pediatric ophthalmology.

1. Approach Pediatric Ophthalmic disorders and Strabismus management both surgically and non-surgically focusing on nystagmus and abduction deficits.
2. Enhance the specificity of surgical modalities in nystagmus and strabismus disorders and delineate cases in need of surgery, what surgery to perform and cases in need of imaging.
3. Aid in deciding order of interventions in cases of Pediatric Ophthalmic and Strabismus disorders focusing on nystagmus and abduction deficits.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
