Abstract Submission Guidelines

Employees of an ineligible company (definition- company’s primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients) are prohibited from submitting an abstract.

Abstracts may only be submitted electronically.

Abstract must total no more than 1000 words (not including title, authors and institutions).

All abstracts must contain the following four sections: Introduction, Objectives, Results, Conclusion.

The following types of abstracts will be considered:

  • Case Reports
  • Clinical Research
  • Basic Science Research
  • Translational Research

While images cannot be accommodated for the abstract submission and evaluation process, they are an anticipated part of each prepared poster or oral presentation.

Selected abstracts will be invited for oral or poster presentations.

If your abstract has been previously published in the proceedings of scientific meetings, but is not yet a published manuscript, it will be considered for presentation.

Acceptance of an abstract does not include course registration fees, transportation or lodging.
