Frances Nadel is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned an MFA in Writing for Children and Young adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her work has appeared in several medical and literary journals. Her short story Lost Letters of Roanoke was nominated for Best American Short Story and her piece, The Phoenix was short-listed in the Oxford Flash Fiction Prize.
