Deborah Scalford RN MSN has over 30 years of Pediatric nursing experience and 25 years of Pediatric post anesthesia care experience.  She obtained her BSN from California State University and her MSN from the University of Phoenix. Currently she serves as a clinical leader in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she has lead clinical initiatives that include medication safety, handoffs and nursing research. Her current research project Pain Management of Children 5-10 years undergoing Adenotonisllectomy has been presented at local and national conferences. This research has been published by the Journal of Perianesthesia Nursing and the Journal for Pediatric Specialist.
