Introduction Information:

 

After obtaining her Master’s degree in Nutrition at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completing a pediatric focused dietetic internship in Philadelphia, Robin joined the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and has been the Surgery and Trauma dietitian for the past sixteen years.  She follows patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, creating complicated nutrition support regimens to meet the needs of the patient and the goals of the family. 

 

Robin received the Department of Clinical Nutrition Innovator Award for her above and beyond efforts to leverage technology to drive a new process for improved patient care for patients on home Blenderized Tube Feeds (BTF), innovating and advocating to create a change in patient care that will make it easier for families and healthcare providers to manage home BTF, and inspiring colleagues to pursue their own ideas for patient care innovations.

Robin is a recognized expert in the field of Pediatric Surgery and Trauma nutrition having published numerous peer reviewed journal articles, co-authorized a book chapter entitled “Pediatric Surgical Nutrition: Principles and Techniques,” and as a sought after presenter on the national level
