Sandy Hartranft received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.  She has been working with children and teenagers with diabetes at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia since 2014 as a Certified Diabetes Educator and insulin pump trainer.  She has been certified as a CDCES since 1995 and worked with adults with diabetes prior to coming to CHOP.  Sandy has volunteered at the American Diabetes Association Camp Freedom Diabetes Camps for several summers and at the Children with Diabetes Friends for Life Conference in Orlando.
