Dr. Treat is Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania with his main clinical appointment at the Children‘s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is the education and fellowship director of Pediatric Dermatology as well as Associate Chair for IT for the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Treat is widely published, is an author on Andrews Diseases of the skin and has given hundreds of invited lectures nationally and internationally. He directs the dermatology course for the Perelman school of medicine and has won 19 teaching awards including the 2016 Provost award for excellence in teaching at the University of Pennsylvania, the 2013 Master Clinician Award at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and was elected to the Academy of Master Clinicians at the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 and won the PeDRA mentorship award in 2023.
