Carly Athan is a dialysis social worker at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She graduated college with a marketing degree and minors in fine arts and Spanish and spent some time in the business world before going back to school to pursue her MSW. Carly is passionate about providing support to children and families navigating grief and loss associated with bereavement and chronic illness and interned with the Uplift Center for Grieving Children and CHOP's Neuro-Oncology program. She loves spending time with her husband and dog, drinking oat milk lattes, hiking, kayaking, and photography.
