Kristen Czech is an experienced Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with an eclectic background that includes Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, Palliative Care, Medical/Behavioral, and Rehabilitation Medicine. She started her career as a Pediatric Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner at the Monroe Carrel Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt where she practiced for ten years and continued her career at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She is now the lead for the Advanced Practice Provider Group in the Medical Behavioral Unit (MBU) and Rehabilitation Medicine Units at CHOP where she works both clinically and as a leader for the units. Additionally, Kristen obtained her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy and has worked in a number of areas including outpatient, crisis shelters, non-profit, and residential settings. She specializes in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Eating Disorders and currently serves individuals, families, and groups in her private practice in Center City Philadelphia. Kristen is thrilled to share her medical and mental health experience and expertise with the group, as she is passionate about the mind, body connection and the overall need for a holistic approach of patients, families, and medical professionals.
