Dr. Nicole Fox MD, MPH, FACS is a trauma surgeon and intensivist at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. She is the medical director of the Pediatric Trauma Center at Cooper as well as the Associate Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Fox was also recently appointed as a reviewer for the American College of Surgeons Trauma Center Verification Program. Dr. Fox received her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School along with a master’s in public health/health administration from the Rutgers School of Public Health. She trained in general surgery at Christiana Care where she served as administrative chief resident. She completed her fellowship training in surgical critical care at Cooper University Hospital and has specific interests in pediatric trauma, health administration, performance improvement and patient safety. Dr. Fox is a member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and taskforce leader for the EAST Guidelines Section. She is actively involved in clinical research and is the author of multiple peer reviewed publications.
