Faculty Bio for Sneha L. Venkatraman, MD

Dr. Sneha Venkatraman is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences at Keck School of Medicine of USC where she works in the child and adult psychiatry inpatient units and pediatric crisis services.  She recently completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at UCLA and completed psychiatry residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson where she served as Chief Resident.  

 

While at the University of Arizona, she completed the Integrative Medicine in Residency – Psychiatry Track and Advanced Integrative Track where she saw children and adults in the Integrative Psychiatry Clinic and completed a mental health-specific curriculum with the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.  She is a certified Integrative Psychiatric Practitioner through completion of the Integrative Psychiatry Institute fellowship. These training experiences furthered her interest in bringing an integrative approach to the training experience by reflecting the bio-psycho-social formulation in treatment planning and patient care.
