Aaron Dorfman, MD

Aaron Dorfman, MD is a pediatric cardiologist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He specializes in outpatient cardiology and non-invasive imaging.  Dr Dorfman received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Muhlenberg College and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine.  He completed both his residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  He is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. 

Dr Dorfman has particular interests in the lifelong management of children with complex congenital heart disease as well as the cardiac evaluation of teenage athletes.  In addition, he is a clinical expert and has lectured nationally in the cardiovascular evaluation and management of girls with Turner Syndrome.  He has been recognized annually among the “Top Docs” by Philadelphia Magazine and “Top Docs for Kids” by South Jersey magazines.
