Loreen Meyer’s Bio

Loreen Meyer currently is the Trauma Program Manager at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and verified ABA Burn Center.   She has functioned as the PI Coordinator for the Trauma Program and in the role as Educator for the Emergency Department at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Loreen Meyer has a desire for education and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Nursing Faculty and Education through Drexel University in 2014. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Loreen Meyer has been practicing as a pediatric nurse since 1990.  Her passion for enhancing the quality of care and patient safety for pediatrics has been demonstrated through her professional growth, commitment to staff development and education. Loreen Meyer has developed and presented various trauma-related lectures and or simulations to a wide range of audiences including both adult and pediatric healthcare providers nationally, regionally and state wide. Loreen maintains active affiliations with AACN, ENA, ANA, PTS and STN

Lastly, her passion for Child Abuse Awareness and with changes in PA state law has resulted in collaborating events and educational programs with the Child Protection Team at St. Christopher’s Hospital to enhance education and training.
