Sage Myers, MD MSCE is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  Her research focuses on hospital and system factors that affect outcomes for children with time-sensitive illness and injury.  Dr. Myers is specifically interested in insuring that all children requiring emergency department resuscitation have equal outcomes regardless of their initial location of care. Areas of interest include team communication, coordinated team-based care, technology in resuscitation and implementation science methodologies for evaluation of care improvement.  She is the Associate Director of Trauma for the Emergency Department and the Chair of the ED Resuscitation Quality Improvement Committee.  She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Research.  Dr. Myers graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, finished residency and chief residency in Pediatrics at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, and completed her fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  She holds a Masters Degree in epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania.
